Min/Max Utility

The AcuSport Retail Technology Group (RTG) has created the following document to outline the AcuSport Min/Max Utility and features which support V6 to better service your system needs.The Min/Max utility produces an export in a pre-determined excel format. The document is saved to a lap top, allowing mobility and flexibility while making min/max adjustments on the fly. Upon completion of said adjustments, the excel document can be imported back into the system easily and will update the database with any changes made.

Requirements and Preparation

The following requirements must be met to utilize the min/max import and export utility

Note: If use of the utility is desired, please contact your AcuSport Sales Professional to initiate install of the utility. Once all requirements are met continue with procedures outlined in this document.

• Must have Microsoft Excel installed
• Must have the most current AcuSport Vendor Catalog imported into the IMS
• Must have the utility installed into AcuSport V6

Overview: Execute Min/Max Export and Import Utility

Complete the following procedures to execute Min/Max utility.

3. 3. Install Min/Max Export and Import Utility
4. 4. Export AcuSport Min Max Report
5. 5. Import AcuSport Min Max Report

Update Vendor Catalog

Data transfer of the most current catalog and item information.

1. Log into your IMS

2. Select Data in the toolbar

3. Select Vendor Catalog from the dropdown

4. Select AcuSport vendor

5. Select Detail tab of Vendor Catalog Window

6. Select Interface in the button ribbon

7. Highlight AcuSport Catalog FTP

8. Click OK

9. Enter credentials:

Server: acuftp.acusport.com

Account#: ars_customer

Password: 294Q7335r54G

*Note- These credentials are case sensitive.

10. Click OK.

*Note -The process may take a few moments to run.

Build Cross Reference

Cross Reference (Xref) is the association of an item to the unique AcuSport part number

1. Log into your IMS

2. Select Data dropdown

3. Select Vendor Catalog from the dropdown

4. Select AcuSport

5. Select Detail tab of Vendor Catalog Window

6. select Bld Xref in the button ribbon

7. Click Yes to proceed at confirmation window

8. Select No when prompted to Update Last Cost

9. Click OK to complete

Install Min/Max Export and Import Utility

Implementing the custom utility into the IMS

Please contact your AcuSport Sales Professional to initiate utility install.

Export AcuSport Min/Max Report

Exporting Min/Max item information in a preformatted Excel file

1. Log into your IMS

2. Select Utilities in the toolbar

3. Select Custom Utilities in the dropdown

4. Locate and highlight acusport min max utility.fxp

5. Click OK

6. Click Yes at confirmation window to run utility

7. Click Export

The file will now be located on the computer desktop. Save this excel file to the computer that you will be working on to make min/max adjustments.

Import AcuSport Min/Max Report

Importing Excel file edited remotely back into live system

1. Log into your IMS.

2. Select Utilities from toolbar

3. Select Custom Utilities

4. Locate and highlight acusport min max utility.fxp

5. Click OK

6. Click Yes at confirmation window to run utility

7. Click Import

Reminder of the columns needed (in order) will prompt, click OK to continue.

8. Locate the file to be imported and click Import

The data in the live system will now reflect the new values.
