Software Update Notes: Version 2.0.1

The AcuSport Retail Technology Group (AcuSport RTG) provides this document as a guide to the additions, changes, and improvements made to the AXIS™ Retail Management System software with the update to version 2.0.1

This update includes the following highlights:

• Calculated Costs with Zero/Negative Values are Replaced with the Last Cost Value

  When the system calculates a zero or negative value for an item's Avg Cost (average cost) or COGS (cost of goods sold) value, it will replace the value with the item's Last Cost value.

  Note: Previously, the system would perform calculations with the zero/negative values.

• Last Cost Field Added to Receive by PO Screen

  An item's last cost (Last Cost) value is now displayed and editable on the Receive by PO screen.

• Invoice Edits Recalculate Average Cost and Value on Hand Values

  When a user edits an invoice item's cost/quantity, the system recalculates the Avg Cost (average cost) and Value on Hand values according to the following guidelines:

  • If a change is made to the item's cost, the system calculates the invoice's item's new total cost (item cost x number of items), determines the difference between this figure and the item's previous total cost, adjusts the Value on Hand accordingly, and recalculates the Avg Cost.

  • If no changes are made, the system does not recalculate the values.
  • If the item's current Physical QoH has a zero/negative value, the system does not recalculate the Avg Cost.

  Note: Previously, the system would adjust/recalculate the values in a less straightforward fashion.
