Add Review Comments to a PDF File

Here's how to easily submit a review of a PDF file, with neither the benefits nor the hardships of a collaborative review mechanism:

1. Save yourself a copy of the PDF with a unique name that identifies you as the reviewer, preferably something using your name.
2. Open your PDF.

3. If the Comment control panel is not displayed on the right side of the PDF window, click the Comment tab to display it.

   Note: The Comment control panel contains tools that allow the user to insert various types of comments, marks, and attachments in the PDF.
4. If, as you review the file, you find something you wish to comment upon, complete the following procedure:
   1. Navigate to the relevant page of the PDF.

   2. Click the Add Sticky Note tool.

      Note: Depending on your software settings, the Add Sticky Note tool may also be available on the toolbar. There are a lot of fun tols there, please "stick" to the using the Add Sticky Note tool when comments need to be inserted in the PDF.

   3. Click near the thing you're commenting on to insert the sticky note icon and display a pop-up note window.
   4. Enter your comment in the box.
   5. Click the button in the upper right corner to close the pop-up note window and add your comment to the Comments List located under the Comment control panel.
5. When you are done inserting your comments, save your updated PDF.
6. Send your PDF somewhere.

2. Open your PDF with Adobe Acrobat Reader (available for download at https://get.adobe.com/reader/) or another PDF reader that lets you add your comments.
3. If, as you review the file, you find something you wish to comment upon, complete the following procedure:
   1. Navigate to the relevant page of the PDF.

   2. If the Comment control panel is not displayed on the right side of the PDF window, click the Comment tab to display it.
