Describe a Serialized Non-Firearm Item

1. Navigate to the Serialized Non-Firearm Description window.

   1. Log In to the Data Center Application to display the Data Center ribbon menu.
   2. Receive Inventory Items.

   3. Complete one of the following procedures as appropriate to display the Serialized Non-Firearm Description window.

      • Identify a serialized non-firearm item on the Receiving Details screen during the receiving process.
      • Click a serialized non-firearm item's Edit button on the Serialized Non-Firearms tab during the receiving process.

   

2. Enter Item information in the window as needed.

   Note: Required fields and settings are displayed with red borders. Depending on the situation, some fields may not be present.

   UPC	Enter the product's UPC code.
   Description	Enter the item description to be displayed on information screens.
   Serial Number(s)	Enter (or scan) the item's serial number and press the Enter key to save the number and create a blank space for an additional number if needed.

3. Click the Submit button.
