Add or Remove a Sales Event Product

1. Navigate to the Sales Events screen.

   1. Log In to the Data Center Application to display the Data Center ribbon menu.

      

   2. Select Pricing > Sales Events from the main menu to display the Sales Events screen.

   

2. Click an event to display its Sale Event Products and Pricing record.

   

3. Complete the following procedures as needed to add or remove products:

   • Add a Product

     1. Click the Add Products button to display the Product Search window.

        

     2. Complete any of these procedures to limit the number of products shown:
        • Enter all or part of a product’s description in the Description field.
        • Enter all or part of a product’s UPC code number in the UPC field.
        • Click an Attribute button and one of its associated Descriptor buttons. (Repeat as needed to further restrict products with additional attributes and descriptors.)
        • Click the Clear button to remove all Attribute/Descriptor filters.
     3. Complete any of these procedures to select the desired product(s):
        • Check a product’s checkbox to select it.
        • Uncheck a product's checkbox to deselect it.
        • Click the Select All button to select all products.
        • Click the Unselect All button to deselect all products.

     4. Complete one of these procedures as appropriate to add the selected product(s) and adjusted price(s) to the Sale Event Products and Pricing record:

        • To adjust the price(s) by a dollar amount
          1. Enter the dollar amount in the Adjustment field.
          2. Click the Adjust Selection by Amount button.
        • To adjust the price(s) by a percentage,
          1. Enter the percentage as a decimal in the Adjustment field.
          2. Click the Adjust Selection by Percentage button.

        Note: If the item is a firearm, the record displays and calculates prices based on the price shown on the item's Product Maintenance screen, but when the firearm is sold through the Register application, the system calculates prices based on the price shown in the firearm's Bound Book.

     5. If needed, edit a product's sales price.

        Note: Refer to Edit a Split Quantity Pricing Event Product's Price for more information.

     6. Double-click the Sale Event Products and Pricing record to close it.
     7. Click the tab's Close button to close the screen.

   • Remove a Product

     1. Click a product’s Delete button to display a deletion confirmation window.
     2. Click the Yes button to remove the product from the Sale Event Products and Pricing record.
     3. Double-click the Sale Event Products and Pricing record to close it.
     4. Click the tab's Close button to close the screen.
