Email Templates screen

The Email Templates screen allows the user to create, text, and activate email templates for routine customer communications.

Use the Email Templates screen

1. Log In to the Data Center Application to display the Data Center Ribbon Menu.

2. 

   Select Setup > Email Templates from the ribbon menu to display the Email Templates screen.

3. Complete the desired procedure(s) with onscreen features.

   Templates arrow button	Click the Templates arrow button to expand or contract the Templates section (Email Name list and Active indicators).
   Email Name list	Click a template in the Email Name list to display its information in the screen's main area.
   Active indicator	A template's Active indicator displays a check mark if activated or no mark if deactivated. Note: Use the Active checkbox in the screen's main area to activate/deactivate the selected template.
   Schedules arrow button	Click the Schedules arrow button to expand or contract the Schedules section (Click here to add new item button and existing items). Note: Some templates do not require scheduling and do not include this section.
   Document Editor area	Populate the Document Editor area (body of the email) with formatted text, images, etc. To place a variable in the email body, position the cursor in the appropriate location and double-click the desired variable in the Data Fields list. Note: For a sample email body that can be cut and pasted as needed, refer to AXIS Email Template: Completed Work Order.
   Active checkbox	Check a template's Active checkbox to activate it. Uncheck the checkbox to deactivate the template.
   Test Email button	Click the Test Email button to send a test email to the desired email address.
   Save button	Click the Save button to save changes to the template.
