POS Setup screen

The POS Setup screen allows the user to set up alternate tender types and control various automatic transaction-related functions in the Register application.

Use the POS Setup screen

1. Log In to the Data Center Application to display the Data Center ribbon menu.

   

2. Select Setup > POS Setup from the main menu to display the POS Setup screen.

   

3. Complete the desired procedure(s) with onscreen features.

   Print Customer Phone Number on Receipt checkbox	Check the Print Customer Phone Number on Receipt checkbox to include the customer’s phone number on printed and electronic receipts. Uncheck the box to print receipts without customer phone numbers.
   Require Customer for Every Transaction checkbox	Check the Require Customer for Every Transaction checkbox to require a customer be selected (or added) for every transaction in the Register application. Uncheck the box to allow anonymous transactions when permissible.
   Automatic Payment Completion checkbox	Check the Automatic Payment Completion checkbox to complete transaction payments automatically (without clicking the Submit button) in the Registerapplication simply by entering sufficient tender to cover the total amount. Uncheck the box to require the Submit button to be clicked to compete a transaction.
   Tender Name field and Active checkbox	Enter a user-defined tender type in a blank Tender Name field and check the corresponding Active checkbox to make the tender type available in the Register application.
   Submit button	Click the Submit button to save settings.
