Sales Order Details screen

The Sales Order Details screen allows the user to create, review, modify, print a document (quote, pick ticket, or packing list) for, and submit a sales order.

Use the Sales Order Details screen

1. Log In to the Data Center Application to display the Data Center ribbon menu.

   

2. Select Purchasing > Sales Orders and Quotes from the main menu to display the Sales Orders and Quotes screen.

   Note: A user must be granted the Purchasing permission to view/use this feature.

   

3. Complete one of the following procedures as appropriate to display the Sales Order Details screen.

   • Click the New Sales Order button to display a blank screen.
   • Click an existing sales order's Details button to display its screen.

   

4. Complete the desired procedure(s) with onscreen features.

   Back button	Click the Back button to return to the Sales Orders and Quotes screen.
   Print Quote button	Click the Print Quote button to print a quote.
   Print Pick Ticket button	Click the Print Pick Ticket button to print a pick ticket.
   Print Packing List button	Click the Print Packing List button to print a packing list.
   Contact Information section	Complete the tabs to identify the customer and other parties as needed. Refer to Select or Add a Sales Order Contact for more information.
   Shipping Details section	Complete the fields as appropriate to summarize and finalize the sales order.
   Submit button	Click the Submit button to process the sales order and move it from the Sales Orders and Quotes screen to the Sales Order History screen.
   Product Selection section	Complete this section to identify products, quantities, and prices for the sales order.
   Sort and Filter Reporting Screen Data	Enter a term (string of characters) in the Search field to display only records containing that term. Click the Clear Search (X) button to undo the Search field filter. Click the Clear All button to undo all filters. Click the Toggle Filters button to display filter controls at the tops of the columns. (Click again to hide the controls.) Click the Export to Excel (Table) button to export the data to an Excel file. Click the Column Chooser button to hide or display individual columns.
