Sales Orders and Quotes screen

The Sales Orders and Quotes screen allows the user to create quotes and original sales orders, review and modify details, and mark orders as shipped.

Use the Sales Orders and Quotes screen

Select Purchasing > Sales Orders and Quotes from the main menu to display the Sales Orders and Quotes screen.

Note: A user must be granted the Purchasing permission to view/use this feature.

Complete the desired procedure(s) with onscreen features.

Date Range fields	Enter starting and ending dates in the Date Range fields to display only sales orders and quotes from a specific time frame. (Items are filtered according to their Order Date values.)
All Dates checkbox	Check the All Dates checkbox to display sales orders from all dates. Uncheck the All Dates checkbox to activate the Date Range fields.
Submit button	Click the Submit button to activate the selected list restrictions (Date Range and All Dates).
New Sales Order button	Click the New Sales Order button to display a blank Sales Order Details screen.
New Quote button	Click the New Quote button to display a blank Quote Details screen.
Sort and Filter Reporting Screen Data	Enter a term (string of characters) in the Search field to display only records containing that term. Click the Clear Search (X) button to undo the Search field filter. Click the Clear All button to undo all filters. Click the Toggle Filters button to display filter controls at the tops of the columns. (Click again to hide the controls.) Click the Export to Excel (Table) button to export the data to an Excel file. Click the Column Chooser button to hide or display individual columns.
Details button	Click a sales order's Details button to display its details on the Sales Order Details screen. Click a quote's Details button to display its details on the Quote Details screen.
Delete button	Click a sales order's or quote's Delete button to remove the item from the screen and delete it from the system.
