Add a Firearm UPC

Complete the following procedure to create (add) a Firearm UPC.

1. Navigate to the Firearm UPC screen.

   1. Log In to the Data Center Application to display the Data Center ribbon menu.

      

   2. Select Setup > Firearms > Firearm UPCs from the main menu to display the Firearm UPC screen.

   

2. Sort and Filter Reporting Screen Data as needed.
3. Click the Add Firearms to UPC Dropdown button to display a UPC entry window.
4. Enter/scan an 18-character alphanumeric UPC in the field.

5. Click the Submit button to initiate a system search for the UPC in the database:

   • If the UPC is in the database, the system adds it to the list on the Firearm UPC screen.

   • If the UPC is not in the database, the system displays the Product Details window.

     1. Complete the window's sections to define the UPC.

        Note: The UPC field will be populated with the entered UPC and the Is Firearm checkbox will be checked. Refer to Create and Maintain a Product for more information.

     2. When the Product Edit window procedure is completed, the system adds the UPC to the list on the Firearm UPC screen.
6. Click the tab's Close button to close the screen.
