Product Details window

The Product Details window allows the user to define a product's characteristics, control inventory and ordering levels; set receiving options; and review and utilize sales analytics.

Use the Product Details window

1. Log In to the Data Center Application to display the Data Center Ribbon Menu.

2. 

   Select Inventory Management > Product Maintenance from the ribbon menu to display the Product Maintenance screen.

3. Complete one of the following procedures as appropriate to display the Product Details window.

   • Create a new product record:

     Click the Add Product button to display a blank Product Details window.

   • Edit an existing product record:

     1. Check a product’s checkbox to select it.
     2. Click the Edit Product button to display the product's Product Details window.

   • Copy an existing product record:

     1. Check a product’s checkbox to select it.
     2. Click the Clone Product button to display a new Product Details window based on the selected product.

4. Click a tab (as needed) to display its contents and complete associated procedures.

   • The Product Edit tab allows the user to define a product's characteristics and values.
   • The Vendor Product tab allows the user to manage a product's vendor product detail record and control the behavior of its Vendor Product Detail window.
   • The Sales Analysis tab allows the user to review an item's sales data and set its min/max values.
   • The Product History tab allows the user to review an item's inventory and transactional history.
