Inventory Groups window

The Inventory Groups window allows the user to create, select, and delete inventory count groups.

Inventory count groups relieve the difficulties associated with counting the entire inventory at once by dividing the inventory into logical stocktaking groups (e.g., department, manufacturer, etc.). These smaller groups can be counted independently of one another and counts can be performed as often as needed.

Use the Inventory Groups window

1. Log In to the Data Center Application to display the Data Center ribbon menu.

   

2. Select Inventory Management > Inventory Stocktaking from the main menu to display the Inventory Groups window in front of the Product Inventory Stocktaking screen.

   

3. Complete the desired procedure(s) with onscreen features.

   Add New button	Click the Add New button to create a new inventory count group.
   Cancel button	Click the Cancel button to close the window and the Product Inventory Stocktaking screen.
   Group Name entry	Double-click a group name to open the inventory count group in the Product Inventory Stocktaking screen.
