Class Details screen

The Class Details screen allows the user to define a class's information and review its roster.

Use the Class Details screen

1. Log In to the Data Center Application to display the Data Center ribbon menu.

   

2. Select Education > Class Maintenance from the main menu to display the Class Maintenance screen.

   

3. Complete one of the following procedures as appropriate to display the Class Details screen.

   • Click the Create New Class button to display a blank screen.
   • Click an existing class's Edit button to display its screen.

   

4. Complete the desired procedure(s) with onscreen features.

   Back button	Click the Back button to return to the Class Maintenance screen.
   Class Information fields	Note: Required fields and settings are displayed with red borders. Class Title Enter the title of the class. The Class Title will display on the Register screen. Class Description Enter an extensive description of the class. The Class Description will display on the Register screen when the Class Title is clicked and may be used to explain the class to customers. Class Type Select the appropriate type from the drop-down. Contact Name Enter the name of the contact person for the class. Phone Enter the contact person's phone number (xxx-xxx-xxxx). Class Address Enter the class location's street address. City Enter the class location's city. State Select the 2-letter abbreviation of the class location's state. Zip Enter the class location's ZIP code. Class Date/Time Enter the class's date (mm/dd/yyyy) and start time or Select a Date and time with the calendar button. Max Participants Enter (or use the up/down arrow buttons to select) the maximum number of participants that may enroll in the class. Class Price Enter the cost for the class. Last Web Registration Date Enter the last date for class registration (mm/dd/yyyy) or Select a Date with the calendar button. (The system automatically enters the day before the class's start date, but the date can be edited to provide adequate lead time for the instructor.) Seats Left Allow the system to automatically update this field. Total Amount Paid Allow the system to automatically update this field.
   Submit button	Click the Submit button to save the class information and close the screen.
   Print Roster button	Click the Print Roster button to print a roster for in-class use.
   List/Raw Data Tab controls	Enter a term (string of characters) in the Search field to display only records containing that term. Click the Clear Search (X) button to undo the Search field filter. Click the Clear All button to undo all filters. Click the Toggle Filters button to display filter controls at the tops of the columns. (Click again to hide the controls.) Click the Export to Excel (Table) button to export the data to an Excel file. Click the Column Chooser button to hide or display individual columns.
   Delete button	Click a participant's Delete button to remove him/her from the roster.
   Check In checkbox	Check a participant's Check In checkbox to mark him/her present for the class.
   Waiver Signed checkbox	Check a participant's Waiver Signed checkbox to indicate he/she has completed a waiver. Uncheck the checkbox to mark the his/her waivers as unsigned and require the completion of a new one.
