Information for Log # (number) window

The Information for Log # (number) window allows the user to view and update firearm information and print labels from an individual firearm record in a bound book.

Use the Information for Log # (number) window

1. Log In to the Data Center Application to display the Data Center Ribbon Menu.

2. Complete one of the following procedures as appropriate to display the desired Bound Book screen.

   • 

     Select Firearms > Bound Books > Non-NFA from the ribbon menu to display the Firearms Bound Book screen.

   • 

     Select Firearms > Bound Books > Gunsmith from the ribbon menu to display the Gunsmith Bound Book screen.

   • 

     Select Firearms > Bound Books > NFA from the ribbon menu to display the NFA Bound Book screen.

3. Click a firearm record to display its Information for Log # (number) window.

   Note: A firearm record (Log #) may be associated with multiple, sequential Bound Book # values, each of which is presented as a single line item in the list. The highest/last Bound Book # associated with a given Log # is its active record. Click this entry to display the firearm's active Information for Log # window. (Clicking a lower/earlier Bound Book # displays a grayed out, inactive, historical window that cannot be modified.)

4. Complete the desired procedure(s) with onscreen features.

   3310-12 Firearm checkbox	Check the 3310-12 Firearm checkbox to mark the firearm subject to 3310-12 reporting. (Uncheck the box to mark the firearm NOT subject to 3310-12 reporting.) Note: Setting a 3310-12 status for a firearm causes that status to be the default status for all incoming firearms having the same UPC. Changing the status does not cause the bound book to generate a new Bound Book # for the firearm.
   Vendor and Customer buttons	Click a Vendor or Customer button as needed to change the type of party supplying (Acquisition Information section) or receiving (Disposition Information section) the firearm.
   Additional Information field	The Additional Information field displays in this window's Disposition Information section and on the appropriate Bound Book screen, but it does not appear in the printed Bound Book.
   Save Changes button	Click the Save Changes button to update the Bound Book.
   Print Label button	Click the Print Label button to print a single firearm label for the firearm.
   Close button	Click the Close button to close the window without saving changes..
   Delete Disposition button	Click the Delete Disposition button to clear all fields in the Disposition Information section .
   Delete Record button	Click the Delete Record button to clear all the fields in the window.
