(Firearm) Vendor Look-up window

The (Firearm) Vendor Look-up window allows the user to select an existing vendor record from or add a new vendor to the vendor database.

Use the (Firearm) Vendor Look-up screen

1. Log In to the Data Center Application to display the Data Center Ribbon Menu.

2. Complete one of the following procedures as appropriate to display the (Firearm) Vendor Look-up window.

   • Click the Select Dealer button on the Transfer In screen when documenting an incoming firearm transfer.
   • Click the Select Dealer button on the Transfer Out screen when documenting an outgoing firearm transfer.
   • Check a gunsmithing work order's Ext. Repair checkbox (and click the OK button in the vendor selection notice window) on the Open Work Orders screen when updating a gunsmithing work order.

3. Complete the desired procedure(s) with onscreen features.

   Name field	Enter all or part of a vendor's name in the Name field and press the Enter key to display all matching results in the list.
   Cancel button	Click the Cancel button to close the window.
   New button	Click the New button to display a blank Vendor Information window. Note: This feature allows the user to add a new vendor to the vendor database at this point rather than be forced to exit the procedure, manually create the vendor record, and then return to this procedure.
   Name entry	Double-click a name to select the vendor and display the Vendor Information window.
   Vendor Information Window fields
   Vendor Name Enter the vendor's name. Address Enter the first line of the street address. City Enter the city. State Enter the two-letter abbreviation for the state. Zip Enter the ZIP code. Phone Number Enter the entire (xxx-xxx-xxxx) phone number. Email Address Enter the entire email address. FFL Number Enter the vendor's FFL number.

   • Select a Firearm Vendor
   • Document an Incoming Firearm Transfer
   • Document an Outgoing Firearm Transfer
   • Send a Work Order Firearm for External Repair
