Adjust Transaction Details

Complete the following procedure to modify values and settings for transaction items.

  1. Identify the Customer as needed to display the Cash Register screen.

    Note: If the system has been configured to allow it, customer identification may not be required for some transactions.

  2. Add an Item to a Transaction as needed.
  3. Complete the following procedures as needed to modify transaction items:

    ClosedCheck an Item's Inventory Level

    ClosedAdjust an Item's Selling Price

    ClosedAdjust an Item's Quantity

    ClosedAdjust an Item's Discount

    ClosedModify an Item's Description

    ClosedSelect the Salesperson for an Item

    ClosedSelect Taxes for an Item

    ClosedCreate a Tax Exempt Transaction

    ClosedCreate a Taxed Transaction for a Tax Exempt Customer

    ClosedSet Receipt Options

    ClosedRemove an Item from a Transaction

  4. Accept Payment for a Transaction to continue with the transaction.
