Customer window

The Customer window allows the user to select a customer, create or modify a customer record, and clear the current customer selection.

Use the Customer window

1. Log In to the Register Application to display the Cash Register screen.

2. Complete any of the following as appropriate to display the Customer window.

   • Click the Customer tab to display the Customer window.

   • Activate the Customer Look-up field with a blank field for a new customer record.
   • Activate the Customer Look-up field with search criteria that return no records or multiple records. (If the search returns a single record, the system automatically selects that record and does not display the Customer window.)
   • Click the Add Shooter tab on range customer's Party Control window and select the desired range product.

3. Complete the desired procedure(s) with onscreen features.

   Phone Number field	Enter a customer’s phone number in the field to search for and display all matching customers. Select a Customer Record Edit an Existing Customer Record
   ID/LastName field	Enter all or part of a customer’s last name or customer ID in the field and click the Enter button to search for and display all matching customers. Select a Customer Record Edit an Existing Customer Record
   New Customer button	Click the New Customer button to display a blank Customer Information page and complete the following: Add a Customer Record Set Up a New Customer Record
   Smartwaiver button	Click the Smartwaiver button to display the Smartwaiver Search window and create/update a customer record with information from a completed online waiver. Smartwaiver: This feature is available only if the store has completed the Set Up Smartwaiver Software for the Range Module procedure.
   Character and BKSP buttons	Click buttons as needed to populate the ID/LastName field.
   Enter button	Click the button to perform a search using criteria entered in the Phone Number or ID/LastName field.
   Clear Customer button	Click the button to button to clear the system for selection of another customer Clear the Customer Selection
